Why We Went
Sometimes the most important breakthroughs don’t happen in a meeting or behind a laptop. They happen when you create real space. Mentally. Physically. Spiritually. A moment to step away and reset.
Elite League International is made up of people who are used to carrying a lot. We’re consultants, relationship coaches, real estate professionals, masters in finance, and more. High performers across the board. But even the best need a reset.
A few of us spent the weekend in Miami. We went to sharpen our mindset, take care of our health, and reconnect with why we’re doing this work in the first place.
What We Found
What we found was clarity. Time to slow down, think differently, and ask the right questions.
Are we leading with intention? Are we building something that reflects who we are becoming, not just what we want to accomplish?
We worked out together. Talked about what’s been heavy. Laughed. Spent time in the ocean. These were reminders of how important it is to be present with each other, with ourselves, with the bigger picture.
I remember sitting by the water one morning, thinking about how often I rush past the things that actually fill me up. And in that silence, I realized how much I’ve been operating on fumes lately. That hit me.
The Power of Real Conversations
We challenged each other, too. Called out where we’ve been playing small. Held space for honesty. There’s something powerful about having people around you who don’t just want you to win, but want you to grow. This trip gave us more of that. More connection. More alignment.
There was a moment during one of our dinners when someone asked, "What are you avoiding right now?" Not what are you working on, but what are you avoiding. That conversation shifted something in me. I realized there were parts of my life where I’ve been showing up at 80%. And that’s not who I want to be.

What We Took Home
We didn’t come back with just flashy ideas or a perfect game plan. We came back grounded. Recommitted. Clear on what matters and how we want to show up for our businesses, our teams, and the people we care about.
I was reminded that leadership isn’t about being the busiest or the boldest. It’s about the small, consistent choices you make when no one’s watching.
