Featuring Darius M: Founder of Rise Growth Partners, Author of The Core Value Equation, Podcast Host of The Greatness Machine
Darius had built what most entrepreneurs only dream about. Multiple businesses, a $200 million company, a book deal, and a seat among top CEOs at MIT.
But inside, he felt empty.
“I was living in Oaxaca, Mexico,” he shared. “I had my family, my freedom, everything I thought I wanted. But I was miserable. I realized… I was the constant denominator in all my unhappiness.”
That moment became the start of a transformation. Not of business, but of self.
Darius’s story began early. By 19, he was already launching his first company. By 46, he’d founded twenty-two.
He built The Money Source, scaled it to 1,000 employees, and sold it. He founded Rise Growth Partners, a private equity firm investing in wealth management companies. On paper, he was unstoppable.
But the grind had a cost. “I used anger as fuel,” he said. “Tell me I can’t do something, and I’ll kill myself proving you wrong.”
That fire got him far — but it left him emotionally burned out.
